Started in 2020, LilyWillow began as a revival of my interest in the natural environment.  On maternity leave, I began taking slow walks with my young children,  stopping and looking at the abundant wildflowers. We began gathering and pressing them, and this led to the initial playful creations. This rapidly grew into  a desire to create whimsical paintings that reflected the wonder and joy of nature I experienced in childhood, as I watched my own children begin to do the same.
